Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, December 10, 2018

Javier Baldovinos

Hola NSR friends, welcome to the second Monday of December... which means Christmas is around the corner and everyone should be asking Santa to bring us all good waves and great sessions throughout the 2019.

Javier Baldovinos

The forecast said waves were really small today, and it couldn't be more true. This is Panga Drops pushing the limits.

Javier Baldovinos

Between the wind and its normal behavior...it was really hard to be in the right spot to catch the sets.

Javier Baldovinos

Small waves means no crowd at all, anywhere. Not bad for these two lonlely surfers at Panga.

Javier Baldovinos

I went to check out Colorado just for the fun of it and didn't find anything probably because of the dead low tide.

Javier Baldovinos

Just a few people enjoying the beach... these couple coming back from a swim.

Javier Baldovinos

A lonely runner enjoying the compact low tide sand.

Javier Baldovinos

A few fishermen with their handlines letting the birds show them where the fish were.

Javier Baldovinos

And of course, the never missing tanning tourists enjoying the sun and the comfortable reclining chairs at the Club House.

Javier Baldovinos

And the local fauna taking in the sun too.

Javier Baldovinos

Later in the day I went to Santana to check out it had better luck with the surfing.

Javier Baldovinos

A lot better than Colorado at low tide, and just a handful of local surfers in the lineup.

Javier Baldovinos

Rideable fun waves, whatelse can you ask for?

Javier Baldovinos

Tito wins the wave of the day of today's report. A wonderful right that looked beautiful with the sun lighting up the wall of it.

And on the sand, mamas with their babies enjoying the sand while sharing motherhood tips and experiences. That's it for today friends, enjoy your week!
