Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, November 24, 2018

Brian Scott

Welcome to the Saturday afternoon surf report. Today the waves were still on the smaller side, but the beach was occupied by all the Holiday travelers and locals alike as we had yet another fine Nica sunset.

Max has been here visiting for a while now. He’s getting pretty used to the waves here, as seen making his 800th bottom turn.

Brian Scott

Carlos has lived here his whole life and he’s surfed here the majority of his life. As seen as he’s making his 80,000th top turn.

Gillem, going for gold! The golden sunset that is. Late afternoon lefts always have you looking right into the sun as it’s setting. It can be blinding and beautiful all at the same time.

Carlos (the other Carlos) making a sweet bottom turn in front of “the other Carlos”.

Here he’s showing Carlos de Colorados his backside pig dogging skills. Fun little drainer buddy!

Josh has the nickname which includes “Pig-Dog”, but here he loves to go left if he has the preference. @joshhavepigdog slipping into a twilight tubo!

Brian Scott

This is exactly why @carlosdecolorados is so well known here.

Brian Scott

Same thing for Oscar. His punts are as trademark as his barrel riding skills.

Low light, speed blur for this ripper as the sun fades on this beautiful Saturday.

Carlos, coming out on top for the day.

Beautiful right?? This time of year the sunsets are exceptionally vibrant with color. Not to say that all the other times of the year we don’t have incredible sunsets. But today was special! Buenas noches amigos ~
