Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 25, 2018

Brian Scott

Just another Sunday Funday here in Sunny Southern Nicaragua. Just ask the pelicans. It was a fine, fine day here today.

Brian Scott

Despite the lack of pumping swell. The conditions were all time. Go ahead and ask Katie as well. She only has positive things to say about this place… but then again, if you knew Katie… you would know, she’s the positivity MASTER!!! Nothing can ever bring her down. Simply stoked on the daily.

Brian Scott

Skatepark like conditions would be an understatement.

Brian Scott

For both boys and girls alike today.

Brian Scott

Sprinkle in some super lunar high tide-ness and this is what it looked like on the rocks.

Brian Scott

My vecino and surf stoked amigo Luis loves surfing no matter the day, weather or conditions. Lucky for him and me (too) we live in a very wave rich environment.

Brian Scott

This guy came so prepared for the nuclear sun that is common down here…

Brian Scott

He has absolutely no excuses for bogging with his surfing due to sun stroke. Nor does it show. Thank you to the person who invented the rashy & sunscreen!!!

Brian Scott

The last two slides apply 100% to this guys turn as well.

Brian Scott

JS, with the afternoon surf check. If it’s not flat, you can always count that he’ll be out there.

Brian Scott

I didn’t quite get my “mystery barrel rider of the day” today, but this will suffice just fine.

Brian Scott

John Martin is a good friend of mine. He also suffered a pretty heavy wipeout during the bigger surf season here. All that being said, I’m so stoked to see my amigo back on a surfboard. Never take for granted what the ocean can throw at you… it can all change in a millisecond. Yeaaaahhh Big John!!!!!

Brian Scott

Surf Stoked face says it all!!!

Brian Scott

What’s better than a nice warm afternoon at the beach than watching some fun surfing going down, waiting for yet another epic Nicaraguan sunset. I can count a couple things in this photo… how about you??

Brian Scott

Luis with his eyes on the prize.

Brian Scott

Mi jefe, Ceasr getting his 4:20 shred on, before his big poker night tonight.

Brian Scott

Scott may, or may not play poker, but I can always count on him making the surf report, since he surfs so good.

Brian Scott

Just a trusty dog, your fantastic lady and a lagoon. What else do you need to complete your late Sunday afternoon walk?

Brian Scott

Justin is a local worker here in Hacienda Iguana. Ok, that title doesn’t give him enough credit. He is one of the many hard working Nicaragüense here always making this place safe and doing it every single day with this infectious smile, day in and day out.

Brian Scott

The Sunday Funday foam party days in SJDS maybe have been put on hold for a little bit… but they’ll always run 7 days a week here in Tola. Guaranteed!!

Brian Scott

Sunset with direct sun, backlit, lens flare, many things many photographers would disagree with….

Brian Scott

I beg to differ.

Brian Scott

Cesar on his millionth sunset wave here…

Brian Scott

and still counting!

Brian Scott

The good thing about airs… there isn’t an exact time of day to do them.

Brian Scott

With the spray coming off this wave and the slower shutter speed of my camera, it looks like Cesar is going about 50 mph. Maybe he is??? Either way, he’s stoked to be surfing every single day here in Nica-Land.

Brian Scott

Jeison, with a super sick blast off for the parting shot and my time to say its been a fun weekend!

Brian Scott

Okay devoted friends across the globe. Thank you for hanging in there with me for the last few days (aka) the weekend. I always enjoy trying to bring you the best surf shots from Nicaragua. You have my heart in mind when I do each and every report. Te amo ~
