Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, September 15, 2016

What's going on primos!? Welcome to the surf report for southern Nicaragua with Parker. We had another fun morning so click "read more!"

We are still on holiday celebrating Nicaragua's Indepedence Day. The locals do things right here because they make a whole weekend out of it!!! Mr. Walker would be proud.

Speaking of vacation, John Gillem was on it after this wave!! Check it out.

10 photos later, still locked and loaded... That pigdog style has been fine tuned over many surf trips.

Spittttt!!! Nice wave, John!!

Conditions were super fun this morning! The forecast didn't predict much; however, the waves were easily chest high with sets a touch bigger.

Lesther is shredding on his new sled gifted from Ian. Keep destroying the waves hombre!!

Today was filled mostly with rights but the lefts still snuck through. Any goofy footed takers?!

Say no more! Chris Conner took the one after. He's one of the famous tube hounds from Popoyo.

It's tough to be a surf guide and get barreled everyday...

Although, Lesther is one surfer who can handle that repsonsibility. Check out his sequence!

Lesther "Houdini" Espinoza...

Look closer- the spit sent him out too! Sick tube bro!!

Did you think Oscar "Juicy J" Espinoza would let his brother get all the limelight??? Let's see... keep scrolling!

Ready for takeoff!! We are excited to see how these boys do in the contest this weekend.

Josh is competing too. If he keeps ripping and gaining style points for this dab, he'll do really well also.

Mr. GoPro already visited us for the last swell so who is flying in now? Maybe a couple of his pretty lady friends?!?

Josh, how's your new Shapeshifter working?? Tell me which tail you use so I can nail a critical top turn too...

The entire incoming tide produced fun nuggets. And the water was clean and blue!

Go back to the previous photo... Why do you paddle for the wave if somebody is already on it? Snowballing may not constitute as "burning somebody" but it's still disrespectful.

Thankfully Marcio powered through. In bigger criticial surf, a snowball can easily ruin somebody's wave or view.

Codo slipped out for a few on his day off. He is like our big brother and surf coach so we are always amped to see him catch his share! Get some bro!!

Chris doesn't need a day off because of the waves he gets and the footage he puts on his Instagram. Look him up at Klo_features for some Nicaraguan goodies!

Ok mis amigos, thank you for checking out today's shots. Enjoy your weekend but also stay tuned to see the contest at Jiquilite! Nos vemos primos!
