Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, September 11, 2011

Hello and good morning. NSR is coming at you live on this beautiful Sunday September 11 morning. This morning we gave pause and remembered the families affected by the attack on the world trade center towers in new york and considered the impact that event has had on the world these past ten years. Thoughts for a better, healthier and more peaceful planet was our meditation today.

Our Tola team was greeted this morning by head high waves and super clean conditions. A new little pulse was showing itself in the form of long makeable lines, a change up from the ultra peaky setup we have been getting the last few days. The late morning crew scored it today.

The waves were super fun all morning long. Guys were even locking into little tubes on longboards.

Football fans were getting psyched for the Sunday games. Even the little ones were fired up. Hit me long, Safari!

Is there anything better than splitting a peak? Shots like this make me want to go surfing.

Get em now! 2 adjacent home sites just minutes walk from the waves. Asking price is $25k for both lots. Hit us up at [email protected] for more information.

Stay tuned for Miguel's report from the San Juan zone.

What’s up folks?  This is Miguel Mora bringing you all the action for this Sunday surf report.  We went to the beach in the afternoon trying to catch some fun waves.  It was running about waist chest high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was warm.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have this beautiful girl, she was the only girl that we had in the water.  Look at her riding on this small but fun right hander.

When we arrived to the beach this afternoon not many people in the lineup, but we had a lot of people having a good time.  They are happy enjoying of this beautiful and sunny day.

We had a few international surfers in the lineup catching some fun waves.  Here we have one of them riding on this little wave.

The locals were commanding the lineup today.  Here we have Felipe “El pipe “Chompipe he was getting some fun waves.  Check him out throwing some buckets on this nice wave.

The lineup was not very empty we had about 12 or 14 surfers in the water including a few international surfers doing their things.  Here we have one of them riding on this peeler left hander.

Rex la “Bestia” Calderon was ripping all over the place.  Look at him destroying the lip of this little wave.  Good job dude!

As we said before the waves were super fun today.  Here we have this local guy riding on this nice sized right hander one of the many waves that he caught today.

On the last shot of the day we have this girl go out to the beach after the long and fun surf session.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  Please check back with us tomorrow!
