Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, September 11, 2009

Hi everybody, this is Miguel bringing you all the action for today’s surf report.  The waves were small but there were a couple of fun ones to be had.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets.  Today we saw some onshore winds for the first time in quite a while.  Check it out!!!

Here we have an unknown trying to make something of this wave.  Maybe one day he will get a better one to work with.

We had a few local fishermen working their magic and trying to put some food on the table tonight.  Maybe they will make a killer fish head soup.

This is Shaggy in this picture posing next to the Nicaraguan Flag.  He is a one of the local patriots of our town.

This is D-lite with our new friends Chad and Melanie.  They are super stoked because D-lite is taking them out in the line up tomorrow for some lessons.

We have a local girl taking some fish up to the house. I think her family is going to be very happy when she walks through the door with these two bad boys.

This morning with the onshore winds we had a bunch of fish in the water. Her I caught a few Jurel trapped in a tidal pool.  Pretty cool picture if I must say so myself.  We are supposed to get a bump up in the swell over the next couple of days.  Let’s hope that the wind turns back around so we can share some great surf shots with you.   Miguel here saying “Peace Out”
