Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, June 06, 2021

Brian Scott

Welcome to the Sunday surf report. It was a bit of a drizzly day, but the winds were calm and the water water super glassy. So it was another good day to be out in the surf!

Brian Scott

Yeah, was super clean and glassy, but now we just need some more swell.

The young guns still manage to make anything around here, big or small look really fun and rippable

Throwing some buckets looking like he could almost hit Costa Rica in the background. Jaja

This place is still getting recognized as one of the best places to go for surfing the world over, but never forget… it’s truly about the humble and sincere local people here along the coast that is the real hidden gem; that is if you’re fortunate to get outside the gates of this little bubble and go see the real side of Nicaragua. It’ll blow your mind!

Brian Scott

Like this not so big, but still perfectly shaped mind blowing barrel that looks like this at 2-3 feet or 10-15.

Brian Scott

Which we are all patiently awaiting!

One thing you can never have too many of down here…. board shorts. Sounds kinda weird (I know), bring that I bet half of you readers will probably have to stretch, yank and tug your way onto your half dry suit on tomorrow’s morning session.

The reef looking eerily like Cottons on a typical June Gloom day.

Just being out there in the ocean, soaking in the salty sea water, even between the waiting time for your sets to come. There’s an energy you cannot get anywhere else on the planet.

This afternoons dismal, yet cool calm air temps had some views like this looking more like a painting. I will tell you this (and I’m bummed I don’t have a snap of it) but the the final sunset was absolutely FIRE!!! Just amazing ~
