Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, April 22, 2011

It isn’t everything about huge party on the beach during this season.  We have big catholic parties going on as well but as you can there are not that much people in these kinda activities.  Every year, the Catholics take this image around town, it is one of the most popular festivities in all the country.

Big stages were built through the last days because there are going to be huge parties on the beach Friday and Saturday.  Some of them felt the power of the tides and they are kinda sinking.  It is a shame that we won’t be able to go because we have kids to take care of.

There were a lot of people on the beach today but we are guessing that tomorrow will be the most we will see.  Check out the scene!!!

One last shot from San Juan del Sur, Danna enjoying the beach.  D-lite will be posting a couple surfing shots later today, so stay tuned with us.

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us once again.  Looks like Lucha has his hands full down in San Juan  This is D-lite bringing you the afternoon surf report.  The waves came up a bit today.  It was running chest to head high with some occasional overhead sets, the water was super clear and the winds were light in the morning.

It was a little inconsistant today but every once in a while some nice corners would come through.  Here we have another unknown ripper with a nice cover up on a small but clean left.

This is the same goofyfoot surfer as we posted in the picture before.  He was all over the place and always seemed to be in the right spot at the right time.  Nice turn bro!!  "Hey dude we got some great shots of you this morning"  If you would like to see the rest shoot us a Email or stop by our Iguana surf shop.

This is one of the local wondergroms pulling in on this sick right peeler.  His name is Lester and you can be sure that you will see him ripping here on NSR all season long.

For our last action shot of the day we wanted to share this sweet photo of Riley.  He is not a local but he has been posted up and living here in the devolopment for a few months.  He gets his fare share of waves everyday, trust me.

Thought I would leave everyone with this beautiful photo.  I have been working on my photography skills as of late and wanted to show off something a little different.  I hope you liked the report for today and we hope to see you back tomorrow.  Peace!!!!
