Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend just like the one we just had. It’s been hot but cloudy and with a nice offshore breeze, and the waves have been super fun.

Today Santana was showing some fun waves, the size was good with some great open faces.

You’ve probably seen on this page the banner of Las Plumerias Hotel, right? Well, let me introduce you to one of the owners Etienne (you’ve probably seen him surfing too), super nice guy, look for him in the water, he might give you a big smile.

Talking about big smiles… this kid was super stoked with the waves today, he was catching a lot of waves, you can tell he was having a great time today!

Another guy that probably had a big smile was this kid after coming out of what looks like a barrel (at least from his point of view!)

There were a couple of surfers at first peak, which was not that consistent, but with patient they found some of the good ones.

The waves were not barreling but there was plenty of wall on each one to carve around.

As normal Santana, there were some steep takeoffs on the set waves.

And some sections that looked (just looked) like they were going to barrel.

And you had to be careful with those tricky sections, you could get smacked on the neck by that heavy lip… just ask this guy!
