Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, December 01, 2011

December first, first day of the month and last month of the year.  We have had an amazing year, waves every day and pretty much offshore winds about 300 days.  Today we had a little bit more to start the last month down here in Nicaragua.  Check out this view from the porch and pool of the Brand New NSR Beach House!

There were some fun waves coming in, out front of the NSR Beach House but the crowd was almost empty.  This guy was the only surfer out there taking advantage of the empty lineup.

We had to change locations because there was not much to take photos of, so we moved up a little bit.  This is what we found!

We also had some fun lefts, peeling off the wedge.  This is our very good friend Mike from Nica Waves pulling into one of the many he had.

December it is a pretty nice month to be down here, you can get to surf with no crowds, you can relax and also enjoy our nature.  Hola pajarito!!!

Pancho Sanchez wasn't worried about his knees this monring, he was pulling off some huge maneuvers.  Here he is going big with a cool floater on this section.

A few regular footer made it to the main peak and they scored some nice ones too.  Are you having a good time?  I bet he is!

You can also bring your girl down and let her have a good time on the beach.  Please check back tomorrow!

Meanwhile on walkabout and still enjoying the hospitality of the Villa Yemma, I woke at daybreak to be greeted by this sight. This little surprise swell still pumping. I snapped this shot before paddling out and ended up surfing by myself for an hour before San Juan Sean and Llyod paddled out for a few.

By the time I paddled in to snap a few more fotos there was no one out to shoot. That didn't keep the sets from reeling off the reef, this one looks downright playful, almost. Stay classy planet earth, Carlos out!
