Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, December 01, 2008

Hi folks, this is Lucha Libre bringing you the first surf report of the last month of the year from out here at Maderas.  The waves were not very good today because we still have some onshore winds pattern around but we still had some waves coming through to be taken.  It was waist to chest high on sets and the water was really nice.  Check it out.

Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro got back to the action today and he was trying to do some stuff on a couple of mushy waves.  He was getting some problems with his back but now he’s feeling a little bit better.

Armando “El Codo” Lopez was taking advantage of the surf conditions.  The waves were not very good for surfing but there were very good for leaning how to surf.  So Codo decided to make some money and trained these girls and showed them how to do it.

It was overcastted all day long but the water was super clear.  So a couple of local divers went out and crushed the lobster.  This guy caught over two pounds in less than one hour.  That’s good eating,  it doesn’t matter how you slice it.

The lineup was a little bit busy today because we didn’t have many waves out there.  Here we have Chulin, Codo and El Gordo making the first race in the water.  Try to guess who was going faster and won the race.

There is always something to do when we don’t have good waves down here.  The waves should be fun tomorrow because the wind is supposed to be back offshore.  Check back tomorrow.
