Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, November 11, 2017

Brian Scott

Hey there everybody, welcome to the Saturday surf report. We still had some pretty good swell and waves to be had out there today. Check it out!

Brian Scott

There was a lot of rips in the lineup, making it a little tricky to be in the right spot. But when they came in and you found yourself on the right shoulder it was good!

Brian Scott

There were a few rippers out there this afternoon. This is one of them. He was blowing these wave UP!

Here’s another one of the amigos. As you can see, this place was like a skatepark for them all over the place.

Brian Scott

This dude taking off practically with the lip, riding it all the way into the flats. This was one of the bigger sets. There were still bigger ones, but there was definitely still some juice out there.

Brian Scott

This dama is helping her surfing man by shooting some photos of him while he’s out having a blast. Hope you got some good ones!

Brian Scott

The conditions were a bit cleaner and better yesterday, but I’m hoping the downslope of the swell tomorrow and Monday will see some cleaned up conditions.

Brian Scott

Crumbly section, no problem, just float right on over it!

Brian Scott

There were the few gems that looked like this down the way. Are you mind surfing this right now??

Brian Scott

Still some nice green barrels coming through into the late afternoon.

Brian Scott

This place has seen a lot more non-surfing related events, like this wedding that is about to go down with a beautiful Nicaraguan sunset. They have a huge party, band and stage all set up for the private party afterwards at Casa Maderas, but they assured they’ll be back to normal business hours mañana.

If however you had your mind on getting out for some food this evening and you’re in the area, it’s Pizza night over Casa Anana’s. Mouthwatering pizzas! Get em while they’re hot!

Brian Scott

This guys trying to mimic that huge backwash off those rocks in the background. I think he’s doing a pretty good job, don’t you?!?

Brian Scott

The reef up the way still had some bomb sets rolling through. Check that cool green backlit wave!

Brian Scott

Trunkable water temps with still some good swell for the next little while. November is turning out to be a pretty gosh darn good month!

Brian Scott

Here’s one of those bigger set waves. Solid!

Brian Scott

Frothy and gnarly looking, but this guys form shows exactly what he’s about to do to that upcoming section of the wave.

Brian Scott

Cesar digging in hard on his trusty short board, get it Nam!!!

Brian Scott

Pangas, big roundhouse cutbacks, sunset time… looks pretty fun eh?

Brian Scott

Beach family for life~! Jamie, Adam and they’re two newest additions to the familia, Biggie and Nala chasing daddy for some cookies!

Brian Scott

The sun was setting pretty fast, so it got a little tricky to stick around and shoot with the light quickly dwindling. Makes for a good little speed blue though.

Brian Scott

Gotta finish off the session with a big ol’ sick carve like this one.

Brian Scott

This is by far one of the best times to be at the beach, watching the end of day melt away as the sun dips into the big blue ocean. It’s kinda romantic too!

!Adiós señor sol! - That’s it for another great day here in Southern Nicaragua. Thanks for stopping by. Te veo un poco más tarde! ~
