Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, November 12, 2017

Brian Scott

Hi everybody, welcome to the super tranquillo Sunday surf report. Mellow day out there. We still have waves, but the winds decided to change it’s mind by the time I made it down to shoot.

Brian Scott

The day was looking great all day. Good lighting, offshore, still a lot of energy out in the water, but the low tide made for a different agenda for me this afternoon.

Brian Scott

Phillip and the other 3 or 4 people who were out decided they didn’t care too much for the wind change and decided to call it a session. Phi Lou tho, still always stoked as ever!

Brian Scott

Well, back to the drawing board. Who else am I going to shoot??? Bueller, Bueller… Anyone??

Brian Scott

Looked like there were some shredders down at the sand bars.. so might as well head down that way to take a peek!

Brian Scott

Well, looked like the winds really went banana’s onshore by the time I got down there in less than 5 minutes.

Brian Scott

These fine folks enjoying their Sunday Funday are contemplating the same exact thing I’m thinking. Should I stay or should I go now?

Brian Scott

I’m sure they were waiting to see Carlos and how he would approach these kinds of waves today.

Brian Scott

and this guy too. But to their surmise, they were both closed out giant mush burgers, leaving them nowhere to go except straight into the beach.

Brian Scott

This guy got the best maneuver of the day… like I said, the winds made it rough for everyone, unfortunately.

Brian Scott

Better off going for a nice bike ride today, like Natalia here speeding by on the nice sand flats on the low tide.

Brian Scott

Or maybe even a chill horse back ride down the beach with the winds in your face.

Brian Scott

Definitely can’t say this was going to be much fun. BUT I have to say, we’ve been pretty amazingly blessed with some incredible surf for the month of November already.`

Brian Scott

At least the water’s warm, right? I think these winds will back off soon and hopefully get back to offshore pronto!

Brian Scott

Until then… there’s always something fun to do here in Nicaragua.

Mr. Local beach bird says…. Gracias por venir! Espero que todos tengan una buena semana por delante.
