Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, October 28, 2021

Hello friends and family from around the world and those of you lucky enough to be here with us in Nica and on this amazing stretch of coastline in the Tola region where we call home here at Hacienda Iguana. If you are here now I hope you woke up early today because the high tide dawn patrol session was the call! Come check it out..

It was super clean and had a bit more size then yesterday, seeing that the wind went onshore and then kinda swirled around and made things funky yesterday around lunch time I ran out of the house early today to get the early session.

Doan is always scoring the best windows, that's one of the advantages of having a beach front house. Yesterday at sunset it was really good also, Colorado has been liking the higher tide recently.

This dude has been shredding the last few days and today was no different, check out that sick floater!

This fella has been scoring also, him and his group have been enjoying the daily water time and making the most of it too.

Thirsty? Plenty of fresh Coco's ready to be plucked off the tree and enjoyed on the beach.

Lucas stretching out and getting ready for his heat while his #1 fan sniffs around for a good spot to sit and cheer him on out in the lineup.

It didn't take long for Lucas to find one and toss some buckets off the rail of his new board, I'm guessing he's loving his latest addition to the quiver. Meanwhile Lyca was on the beach wagging her tail in excitement to spot him out there doing his thing.

Look at that glassy beautiful wave! Just a light offshore wind blowing and only about 11 people out this morning between 7-9am meant everyone out was stoked!

Welcome back to your home away from home Bertie! I'm sure you're happy to be back in warm water a nice change from the cold water down in the south of France. Sure to score some sick waves with Robin and Bianca over the next few months, I'll be looking out for ya'll and try to score some photos for ya'll while you're down.

Okay everybody that's a wrap for today! Time to get out there before the conditions change.. but if it does get worse during lunch we may have a repeat of yesterday as it got really good around 4pm and was pumping through sunset. Also lookout for the green flash at sunset as the last couple of days there has been a very clear green flash just as the sun disappears below the horizon. I look forward to seeing you down at the beach if you're here or seeing you soon as you'd have to be crazy to not be booking a trip here in the near future. Cheers!
