Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, October 28, 2017

Brian Scott

Happy Saturday everybody! Hope you’re all enjoying your Weekend. Today we had a mellow beach day with some mixed up, onshore, fun little waves. Let’s check it out!

Brian Scott

A good depiction of the surf today, but more importantly, how about that lush green hillside? Enjoy it while you can… will be back to it’s summer time tan soon enough.

Brian Scott

I noticed Gav was back in town. Well, maybe he’s been here and I just haven’t seen him around; but today he was going koo koo for Coco Puffs out there! Here he’s pulling some crazy floater for Fruit Loops! Sick one buddy!

Brian Scott

The wind, water and sand was nice and warm today. It had rained a bit earlier in the day, but the sun finally came out and it turned into a nice beach day.

Brian Scott

Solo una chica out there, but she was having a blast!

Brian Scott

Because the sun came out, so did a few of the beach people. It was a great day for a nice walk on the beach.

Brian Scott

Or a great bike ride up and down the sand on the low tide.

Brian Scott

Tahoe concurs! Arrrf Arrrf!

Brian Scott

Or better yet, a good day to get out there for a midday surf.

Brian Scott

We had a little grom crew out there as well.

Brian Scott

I’ve never seen this mini shredder, but he looked like he was enjoying the lineup being so empty.

Brian Scott

It was kind of the Gavin show out there, as he was blowing up these onshore wind swept waves.

Brian Scott

However, John was down the other side of the beach flaring and answering back with his sailfish, Man-Fan!

Brian Scott

80 degree water makes for a good surf session regardless of the waves..

Brian Scott

… as long as there are waves., right?

Brian Scott

Onshore usually doesn’t allow for too many opportunities for barrels, but that doesn’t mean people still won’t be looking for them.

Brian Scott

A couple of amigos trading off waves.

Brian Scott

We always try to be an equal opportunity photo displaying surf stoke source, be it muchachos y muchachas!

Brian Scott

well, well, well… seek and you shall find!

Brian Scott

Check out this sick little sequence of Mr. Gavin destroying this helpless little crumbler. Starting off with a super compressed tight little bottom turn.

Brian Scott

Then getting over 3/4 of his board out of the wave with the speed from that bottom turn.

Brian Scott

Projecting him up over the lip.

Brian Scott

Followed up with a nicely controlled fin release.

Brian Scott

Sick one GAV! Nice maneuver!!

Brian Scott

Look who I caught hanging out today, literally. Tony ZEEEE!!!

Brian Scott

Alrighty my friends. Enjoy your Saturday evening. There are probably a lot of Holloween parties coming up the next few days. Sounds like there is a party in Gigante tonight. If you go, be safe and lets rendezvous por la mañana! Chao ~
