Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 02, 2012

What is up everyone!  This is Eric comin' at you with the report for this second day in July.  We woke up with expectations of great waves but were a little dissapointed when we got to the beach.  The swell hadn't really showed up yet and there was not to much going on.  We snapped a few photos of some set waves,  but really we are waiting for the real swells to arrive!  Check it!

Our friends at Surfari Charters are celebrating ten years in Nicaragua this year. They will be marking this milestone with an Epic Beach Party coming up in July. Everyone is invited so if you can be here July 20, we’ll see you there.  Lets start the count down!

There were some guys out playing the waiting game and catching some waves every now and then.  Here two longboarders split a nice looking wave!

This is the same guy that was going right on the last wave.  He was catching plenty of waves out there and getting some looonnggg rides!

We walked back home and decided to wait until later to see if the surf would pick up.  On the way back we saw these guys hanging out... They don't look too comfortable though huh?

Later on this evening we headed back out there to see what was going down.  Carlos Caliente saw a few fun ones and decided to try it out.  Check out that empty left!

The tide was low again and making for some little drainers.  This guy found himself a nice little corner and pulled right in!

Another empty left down the beach was just asking for someone to surf it!  It was fast and hollow and there was nobody around!

Melon Comelon decided no to paddle out and just hung with the kids.  He and Lester were like the peanut gallery on the beach.

Looking way down the beach right at sunset I saw this guy dropping into a sick one!  That's all we have for today, we are hoping to wake up to some bigger and better waves out there!  Gracias for checking in with NSR's daily report.  Tune in tomorrow for all of the action, straight from the beach to your computer!  Until then take it easy!
