Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, July 02, 2010

Allegra and Aislyn stopped by this morning to check out the waves on their last day in Nicaragua.  The Hawaiian sisters are on a world tour and our coastline is their last surf destination for a while.

Looks like these guys are practicing the Samba in hopes of a Brazilian victory. Their collision sure did have spectators on their feet.  The men were in good spirits after inspecting their boards and finding no damage.

Brazos are always representing their home country while out riding waves. Today they were hoping for a victory against Holland.  Sorry to disappoint you guys but the outcome was 2-1 Holland.  At least you caught some awesome waves and if you happened to catch the game it was an exciting one!

Ryan is from Hawaii and when I asked him what he could find in Nicaragua that he can’t in Hawaii, his answer was beach breaks.   And it is true, the Nicaraguan beach breaks are epic! That is just one good reason to come visit us!

I had chance to hang out with three super cool Brazilians who hired us to take photos.   We hit a bunch of different spots along the coast and had an awesome seafood lunch at Yolandas.  Here Sergio does a bottom turn while contemplating his next move.

Davi is on vacation from law school and is clearly enjoying the waves!  He rides the line beautifully!  We will be sad to see him go tomorrow but hopefully he comes back to visit.

Lucas gets low as he cruises down the wave.  He was a lot of fun to watch! Thanks for everything boys. I had a blast with you and next time I am in Brazil I’ll have you show me your home town surf!

This just in,

Lucha libre got hired today by a few new friends from Fl.  They all were super stoked with the bunch of cool photos he took of them.  On the first shot of this crew we have Randy throwing a sick frontside turn on this left.

On the second shot we have Max dropping into one of the biggest set waves of the day.  Check him out looking good on this right!

This is Kim but not Lion King grabbing the rail on this nice looking left.  He doesn't surf much back in the states so we pretty much can say that he was learning.  He did really good today on this hard wave.  Whife is going to be proud Kim!

On the last shot of this crew we have Rob giving some work to his fins.  It was really nice to meeting you guys, look foreward to see you guys next year.  Have a good one!
