Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, July 02, 2009

Hello again this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” and Jeremiah “Chewy” bringing you another installment of the best surf report in Nicaragua! The surf was odd today… The wind was perfect when we got to the beach and within twenty minutes it turned side shore at 30 mph! I felt like I was surfing back home in a hurricane! Check it out!

Here’s Morgan from Miami Beach pulling into a little fun one! Dude the water looks like back home but the waves are 100 times better! Good job keeping the fro alive! I cut mine a week ago and haven’t been the same since.

Dude this guy was trying to fly all day! I think you better stick to the ground, it doesn’t look like you are ready to go airborne!

I only got 15 minutes of water time so I had to make it count! Here’s the best intern the earth has ever seen! (shout out to Pancho for teaching me proper backside barrel riding)

This is our friend Steve from West Palm Beach, FL dropping in on a fun one! Get it Steve we will be dropping the pictures off shortly!

So then the waves got bigger but the wind was kicking hard sideshore! People were still trying to surf but it was tuff!

Eventually the wind was crazy and almost everyone got out! I was getting pelted with sand!

It rained all day so the big trucks were having trouble getting up the hill! This truck was blocking traffic so a bus tried to pull it up the hill! I didn’t work and everyone was getting frustrated!

Lucha Libre gunned it and went around the truck!  Check this shot out! That is a 20 foot drop! Great job I would have never done that!

For the last shot of the day we have a lady selling rubber boots. It has been raining a lot so they are becoming a necessity! She tried to rip me off and charge me gringo prices! No way! Thanks for buying my shoes Lucha! The swell is looking up check back tomorrow!

We taught some lessons today too! Pancho went out and showed these people how to man fan!

Here is one of the NSR Surf School students, Azure killing it and going down the line on her first day!

There was a lot of other people learning out there too. Remember ladies the interns are always accepting numbers. So far not going so well...
