Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, June 21, 2019

Brian Scott

Bienvenido! It’s that time for your Friday kick-off to the weekend again. Waves have been working great the last few days, weather is beautiful and sunny, what isn’t there to like about a place with all so many good things to offer!

Brian Scott

Got down there this AM when the tide was going pretty low. Check out my amigo Mikey getting slotted on a low tide drainer.

Brian Scott

Here’s another one of him after I walked down on the sand and was standing about knee deep in the water on a sand bar where I would be about neck deep in water if it were high tide. Mikey, well below sea level.

Scott Wallach with the ol’ In-n-Out nugget of the day!

Brian Scott

Things setting up nicely….

Brian Scott

He didn’t even have to really pump through in this thing…

Brian Scott

With a little stall behind the curtain…

Brian Scott

And wallah, that’s some Wallach magic right there!

Brian Scott

Conditions were much better even earlier.

Brian Scott

I took a roll the dice risk today and opted for a hike to one of my favorite places to shoot from. Unfortunately, the tide had gotten too low to shoot from my secret spot. So maybe I’ll try again when we have that big(er) ground swell next week!?

Brian Scott

That low tide chunky thing was starting to happen and it was actually looking pretty gnarly and rather dangerous. Jason NEVER GOES STRAIGHT. EVER! Check him packing this heavy closeout like a CHAMP!

Brian Scott

The double ups were starting to show their ugly faces too. Watch out amigo, that’s only about a foot of water you’re about land in!!!

Brian Scott

Jason was completely on fire out there today! Juts ripping every wave apart. Sick session hermano!

Brian Scott

My favorite view/angle, but it wasn’t quite working today. Until next time my friend… I’ll see you then!
