Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, April 19, 2009

Hi everyone, this is Jairo “Come Pan” Panic bringing you all the action for the Sunday surf report.  Today I’m back to work after a week off on vacation in the Corn Islands. This morning we headed out to Maderas to score some waves.  The waves were small but really fun for the big panga. It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets, the wind was offshore all the day and the water was a little bit warmer than yesterday.  Check it out.

This morning the lineup was completely uncrowned.  Carlos Caliente was able to take the longboard out and catch a bunch of fun waves.  Here we caught him taking off on this nice looking left.

A few of the girls were taking plenty of fun waves and having a great time out there.  Here we have one of them showing us just how much. Here we have a cool photo of the lucky girl getting a sweet right.

Rodolfo “El Calibilly” made it out this morning as well.  He was ripping it up all over the place.  Here we have him sharing a wave with his new friend, at least this guy got to see first hand a really nice backside turn.

We would like to introduce to you the new surfing generation.  This is Gabriel Castillo.  He is super stoked to have this new board, now he can surf everyday with all of his friends.  We think you will be seeing a lot of him in the future.

This is our last shot of the day and as you can see here there was plenty of style to be seen at Maderas today.  We are expecting a big swell in the middle of next week and until tomorrow this is “Come Pan” signing out.
