Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, April 20, 2009

Hi and thanks for checking out the Monday surf report with us.  We’ve got Jairo “Come Pan” bringing you all the surf news from the beach.  This morning we made it out one more time to Playa Maderas expecting to catch some fun waves.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets with offshore winds and the water was crystal clear.  Check it out!!!

Today was a perfect day to take the longboards out and take advantage on the small but fun little waves.  Here we have a nice shot of Scott who was able to take plenty of good rides all day long.

Here we have a nice shot of an unknown surfer picking up a nice left.  We didn’t have many waves today but the good thing was that the beach was completely uncrowd so it was really easy to score a couple of good waves.

The town is getting quite busy this time of the year with many visitors that decided to take a break and spend a sick vacation on one of the many cruse ships we have around the world.  Check out how big is that thing!!!

Back in Playa Maderas, “La Bestia” Calderon was destroying apart every single wave that came through.  Here he is practicing a sick front side maneuver.  Who is going to stop him this year?

A few ladies were able to paddle out today and they scored some really fun ones.  Here we have an unknown girl taking off on a nice right on the last shot of the day.  The waves are supposed to be smaller tomorrow but get ready for the next days because we are expecting to score some sick ones.
