Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, April 19, 2006

First of all, don't get too excited - this photo isn't from today, it's a photo we took about two years ago on a day that is largely responsible for our decision to move down here. This photo is of Mr. Brown and has just come out in the latest issue of Surfer's Journal - a two page spread! Check it out if you get a chance, there's also a good shot of Lance from Surfari Charters (who is once again confused with D. Hobgood) Special thanks to Dean who wrote the article!

Now, back to reality...it's still pretty flat out at Playa Santana today. The wind was light early and light onshore by mid-day. There might be a rideable wave somewhere, but it's not really working here.

Here's a shot looking up the reef - the onshore winds bring in the fish and folks have been tearing up the Snapper out here. Hopefully this pattern will change tomorrow...
