Hola damas y caballeros!!! Happy Sunday Funday!!! YES… It’s that time again of the year, but this week is super special and actually going to be quite a bit nuts and jam packed full of LOTS and LOTS of people. That’s right, it’s “Semana Santa” time already and this is one of those holidays where EVERYONE will be flocking to the beaches and celebrating one of the most celebrated Holidays in all of Latin America and Latin Culture the world over!! So with all that being said, let’s just take a peek at what you all came here for…. WAVES!!

Alvaro definitely came out for the waves this afternoon. Luckily I was walking up the trail with him when I was checking it and he said he had come from a reef break a few clicks north and over a few (dried) out river beds to get there; but he said it was ON! So maybe this week with all these insane crazy winds, I might have to take a run up to this legendary surf spot. Yeah buddy!!! Killing probably on your round three session for the day!

The winds (especially after going hot into April) have been going richter! Thus making it almost only possible to shoot in the late afternoons as of lately. Since the winds have been a tad lighter for the PM sessions.

Yeah Rodge, looking like that freshly, newly shaped GA board is looking like it’s going super well for you!!!! I’ve definitely got my sights on gong to see Jessé for a custom board hopefully this season!!!

Don’t be fooled by the small size of this inside section smack! It was calling 2-4 today and the reef (as always) didn’t disappoint for todays surfing action!!!

Solid lefts and rights were on tap and if you surfed well, like Sarah here, you were connecting all the DOTS from point A to B with precisional surfing, like this all day long!

Even though the whitecaps were still howling out the back, the inside was much calmer and certainly waaaay better than what it looked like throughout the entire day. Nice wrap… giving a little clinic for the boys about to paddle out!

The sunset was (as always) pretty EPIC and amazing! This week is going to be pretty wild. . . I’m ready . . YOU guys ready????
