Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, April 03, 2023

Brian Scott

Welcome back Monday! It’s amazing how quickly time goes by down here in the tropics. Must have something to do with be being so close to the equator, maybe? The time (from sunup to sundown only changes by about 30 min the entire year) It’s pretty much dark by 6:30 pm and first light is around 5:00AM. We only have two seasons, wet and dry (ie. Summer and Winter) and the weather (temperature) is about the same all year long, give or take a few degrees depending on the winds. So, with all that being said, if you like warm tropical weather and it staying that way almost 365 days a year (and you don’t mind some rain) then this is the perfect place for YOU! Ohhhh, almost forgot one of the most important things…… We have some of the best waves on the planet!

Brian Scott

Still sure pretty windy out there. Even though we’re known for our amazing offshore winds, These “devil” winds will dissipate soon and we can go back to our normal, more regular offshore winds.

Brian Scott

Always people coming out of the woodwork looking to score one last session of the day. These two must see something worthy out in the lineup. . . ?

Brian Scott

Ahhhh, Yup,, that would be worth to point and take notice of! Sick one Tanner!!!

Brian Scott

If you see it, why not always try and go for it!?!?!

Brian Scott

Sarah, going for “IT”…. it, being the coveted and ultimate surfers view!

Brian Scott

Steezy form and sick body language on this straight up perfectly positioned 12 o’lock cracker off the ol’ top!

Brian Scott

Every inch of dedication and commitment that went into this Hail Mary attempt was ohhhh soooo well deserved! You wanna now why……????

Brian Scott

Because, I don’t think it had a very happy ending!!!! OUCH!!!!!!! Surfing has it’s up and downs, I just hope that board didn’t connect with exactly where it’s aiming to go!

The flip side to surfings dangers and excitement of the thrill of it all, there’s nothing that beats this parting shot of this patriotic, romantic, after surf embrace after a super fun surf session in an exotic location in Latin America during one of the busiest and most celebrated Holiday, Semana Santa! Latin anything and Love is synonymous. Don’t believe me, book a trip on down and see for yourself!   ;)
