Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, March 26, 2017

Hola amigos and welcome to the Sunday report. This is Parker signing in with a few different shots. Yes, you can click “read more” to procrastinate your Monday morning for a couple minutes. Enjoy!

There is a small pulse in the ocean but nothing crazy. I checked the reef in the morning on the lower tide to see what was going on. Scott Wallach making a powerful cutback through the flat section.

A couple waves slipped through the south end of the reef. I shot this photo from Casa Cantamar. Yes, that house is available, yes that pool (and outdoor patio set up) have a killer view, and yes the Tonas will be cold!

Otherwise, not a ton was happening this morning. I think last night was a long night with the various early evening festivities and a bigger party at Mag Rock to top things off. That meant empty line ups!!

In the late morning, I had to run over to a nearby community to deliver some rental boards. You guys probably already know we have a sick quiver of boards, but remember that we can deliver them to where you’re staying. Talk to your reservation agent about it.

After I dropped the boards off, I walked up to the beach. We have some rad guests in one of our Villas and they went for a mid day surf. Ross, on the left, and Johnny, on the right, in the perfect spot to score!! Those hombres scored a fun surf-filled weekend but they scored even bigger with their wives who planned this trip for them.

It’s Sunday today… What else do you have going on? The local boys were out enjoying their dia libre.

Can I just hang out on this patio and watch the waves all day!?!? Click that Vacation Rentals tab to see what rental properties NSR offers in this community. Maybe I can pass the camera off to you while I go surf???

I turned around to see a sick wave slip through the southern peak. Check out the sequence!

Four photos later, he’s locked in. Line is set and holding on for the view. Yeww!!

This is the reason people come surf this peak. Still going…

Ahh no!! The tube got too small and he had to pop out the back. But a 20 photo tube ride is something to be stoked on… I bet he’ll be walking into the office tomorrow talking about the one that got away!

Well damas and caballeros, it was time to get back to our community and get some work done. In the next few weeks, you should see some more beautiful flowers as the rains come. Weather the dryness- the rain is on its way soon! Thank you all for checking out today’s photos and have a good start to your week! Hasta pronto chicos.
