Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, February 03, 2021

Javier Baldovinos

Happy hump day everyone! The winds continue strong but we got a a little bit more swell than the past days, nothing to brag about but hey, every inch count!

Javier Baldovinos

Plenty of waves at Pangas, lefts and rights with several peaks breaking good and soft.

Javier Baldovinos

Here is an unknown rider charging against the wind on one of the set waves. It's tricky to go right this time of the year, the wind usually comes straight at you and it's a constant fight to stay on the wave.

Javier Baldovinos

But if you surf every day here you learn to deal with the wind and start using the wind to your advantage.

Javier Baldovinos

At Los Perros the waves were small and breaking kind of shallow but they had a great shape... that guy probably would had had a great session with that board over there.

Asher has become almost like a poster child whenever we shoot for the surf report at Panga Drops, he is always here ripping no matter the conditions.

Javier Baldovinos

Of course, along with Asher is his son (and sometimes his daughter too) following dad's steps.

Javier Baldovinos

This kid has been putting a lot of hours here at Panga, he catches so many waves, he's a machine, it's incredible!

Javier Baldovinos

I was expecting for the whole crew of fishermen to turn their heads this way, I guess the conversation was very interesting.

Javier Baldovinos

Looks like the wind will slow down a little bit, just a little bit, starting tomorrow. I guess I'm going to try to surf tomorrow.

Javier Baldovinos

Guilty as charge, I turned around, but it was only to check on the right at Los Perros ;)
Cheers!
