Surprisingly, it was a slow morning. There are leftovers from the swell but most of the waves crept through untouched. What a shame!!!

However, there was one girl surfing well and gobbling up the waves. She rightfully asserted her position and called that guy off her wave.

By no means was it pumping, but the waves were fun and about chest high. The rights have been working well so us regular footers are stoked!

This is not a center for ants so we probably are not going to get barrelled. But, you can set up for a hack or blow the lip off the wave.

She was picking off waves left and right (well, mostly just right). She was working on set up for a big layback.

The offshores stayed light for about 3 hours this morning. During the late morning and until lunch time, they were blowing consistently. Now, in the afternoon, they are calming down. Yes they whip, but you can still surf a handful of hours everyday.

Our CPSO always prefers the glassy morning session. It’s funny because most of us need to be on top of it in order to surf when the conditions are right at home. Because it’s offshore all day here, you can sleep in and still enjoy prime conditions.

The wave can be moody due many factors but the most frustrating factor can be the flat section. Conserve your speed and punch through the burgery spots.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! Sometimes you catch one wave and spend a few seconds working up to unleash one single man turn.

Ok damas and caballeros, it’s time to wrap up my work for the day. Check out this photo real quick. There is still some green leftover but the windy season is upon us so everything is losing the green. We’re already excited to receive our first rains in late April and May!
