Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, January 13, 2017

Happy Friday everybody and welcome to the NSR surf report! This is Parker clocking in for the early morning shots of the reef. Check them out!

Here’s the sequence of that lineup shot posted above. The swell is here and there are swell lines everywhere. How many waves do you think are in that photo? Three for sure, not counting what’s marching in the backdoor.

I was very surprised to see only one guy was on it. Where is the EMHEC? They aren’t representing when the waves are good!!!

I love surfing this wave when the direction and interval align (also the wind because it’s the dry season). Finding long all-the-way-to-the-beacher rights are always a treat. Catch three of those and you’ll be smiling ear to ear.

Tim Walker was the only guy on it. He’s picky so he was able to patiently wait for his precise wave. Keep scrolling down to see if his patience paid off.

Go back to the previous three photos. See how he started wave outside? No look how far inside he is…

Nice wave, Tim! We’ll see you around and keep enjoying those long long rights while nobody else wants a piece of it!!

As a professional speaking, you should probably go surf today. The waves are still fun, the wind isn't whipping, and the lineup was pretty empty for the morning session.

Ok camas and caballeros, there wasn’t anybody in the water from sunrise to about 7:30am. Get on it before the wind does! We appreciate you guys checking out our shots and I’m going to go spend the day with my family. Hasta pronto amigos!
