Booking Policy:  
50% of the rental rate is required to confirm a reservation.  The rental balance is due 30 days prior to arrival, along with airport transportation and meal plan payment if booking either or both of these services. Full payment is due at time of booking if booking is being made 30 days or fewer before check in.

Casa Flying Pigs is a lovely newly-constructed home, located a mere 2-minute walk from the main clubhouse, restaurant and pool area of Rancho Santana. Step out of the spacious master bedroom onto your very own balcony and enjoy your morning coffee with a sweeping view of Playa Santana. Or open the sliding doors from your guest bedroom and enjoy the lush gardens and swimming pool right outside your door. Perfect for families or a friendly getaway, this house features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, A/C throughout, open concept living and dining area with sliding doors opening to the garden and private swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet and satellite TV. There is a generator on-site for back-up electricity in case of any power outages. An in-home catering service is also available as an additional add on to your luxury vacation.  

Please note that the housekeeping staff will do any laundry you may have as they are the only ones with access to the washer and dryer in the house. This service is included with your stay.

The master bedroom contains a king bed, Guest Room #1 contains a Queen bed, and Guest Room #2 contains a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top. The house comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults.

Casa Flying Pigs is located about a 2.5-hour drive from the Augusto C. Sandino airport in Managua.  Or another option can be The Costa Esmeralda Airport, located 15 minutes from the Rancho Santana development.  This airport opened in 2015 and offers direct flights from Liberia, Costa Rica (on Sansa Airlines). If traveling light, guests may want to consider experiencing the beautiful views and convenience of flying into the Costa Esmeralda Airport.  These are small commuter planes with limited cargo storage.  Those traveling with full size suitcases and surfboards should check with the airlines before booking ticket to ensure there is ample baggage space on the flight.

While we provide airport transportation, it is necessary to have a rental vehicle while staying within the Rancho Santana community. This development is a sprawling, 2,700-acre property, full of rolling hills and home to 5 beautiful beaches.  These beaches are known for breathtaking coastal views and world class surf breaks.

A vehicle will also allow you to access the Playa Colorado, Panga Drops and Los Perros surf breaks. There is a back road within Rancho Santana that leads to a surf parking area (and great taco restaurant!).  You can park there and surf Los Perros out front or walk to Panga Drops and Playa Colorado.

Additional amenities within the community include 3 restaurants, a café, a pool side bar, 3 community pools, clubhouse area (equipped with a bocce court and horseshoe pit), horse stables, hiking trails, tennis courts, a spectacular yoga platform looking over beautiful Playa Santana, the Ford Fine Art Gallery, a spa, small grocery market, and more! 

Rental vehicles can be obtained at the Managua Airport or at nearby rental agencies. We can provide a guide to meet you at the airport in his own vehicle to show you the way to Rancho Santana. We can also help set up vehicle rental with a nearby agency if you would prefer to be picked up at the airport instead of driving yourself.
