Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, December 15, 2013

Hello and welcome to the Sunday surf report. Everyone got up to see if the swell continued bringing good waves. If a SSW swell is hitting good, this point would be working. There were waves but it wasn't the go to spot. The offshore wind was not too strong as it has been and the water was a little cool.

Many points worked perfect. This spot was the favorite for this week and throughout the dry season and the locals know it..

Early on it seemed smaller than yesterday, but it began to pick up later in the morning.

We were happy to see the waves pick up through the day. Check this head high nugget.

Seemed like a fun day at the wave park.

There were many waves with no one to take them.

The best waves of the set had tubes in corners and even a good ramp for maneuvering. Something for everyone.

Lots of rights today.

This girl was charging these waves. We had so many shots of her waves but I like this good bottom turn.

This guy have to be more than happy to have had the opportunity to test the tubes. Here he is sneaking under the lip.

The guy was feeling the g-forces on this cutty.

We moved down the beach to check the sandbars. Waves were running out, but there were still a few corners.

Not a lot of surfers around this time of year. Those who were on it scored some empty ones.

This peak had only three people sharing a little Sunday wave brunch.

Ok, thanks for watching today's report. We should have some more December action for you tomorrow. Don't forget you can be a part of NSR's Holiday gift drive as we bring the spirit of cheer to our less fortunate neighbors - just email us at [email protected] to find out how. Armando Lopez is out.
