Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, December 15, 2008

Hi everyone, we are the NSR family bringing you the action for the Monday surf report.  Today we went to Playa Maderas hoping to score some fun waves.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets, the winds were offshore and the water super nice and clear.  Check out what we got!!!

There weren’t many people out today, there were only about five locals and four other international surfers having plenty of small but fun waves.  Here we have our really good friend “El Mope” Miranda with a cool bottom turn.

Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro is always flying all over the place and today wasn’t the exception.  We caught a really good shot of him going big with a killer backside aerial.

Here we have this unknown rider taking a sweet right.  The lineup was not busy today but there were not many waves to be had either because it was pretty inconsistent.

On this shot we have Rodolfo “Calibillly” Zapata with nice off the lip.  This kid has been working really hard lately because he wants to buy a new board.  We hope he can make his dreams come true.

The surf was not very excited today so we decided to take a couple of shots around and we found these crazy girls sharing some secrets.  Sometimes we don’t’ know if that is Jairo or Jaira!!!

It is a perfect time to take some tattoos photos.  Many girls have amazing tattoos in different parts of their bodies.  Today we found this cute chick with a really nice tattoo, we thing on this part might hurt a lot.  You need big cojones to do this.

On the last shot we have this awesome scene of the two giant cruise ships that we had at the bay today.  The waves should be about the same tomorrow so check back with us and see what we’ll have for you.
