Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, December 15, 2011

Hey folks, it is Lucha Libre here from up north with the Thursday surf report.  The waves were super fun running about chest to head high on the bigger sets, the winds were nice offshore and the water was great.  Check it out!!!

Countdown to Christmas is on!  We would like to ask your help in making this Christmas a super special one of the community of La Churequita in Rivas.  For the last 2 years, NSR has helped raise enough money to provide Christmas gifts and meals to over 300 people in 2 different communities in the southern region of Nicaragua.  If you would like help us bring Christmas to La Churequita, please email:   [email protected]   (we are asking that donations be sent via PayPal to [email protected] )

The lineup was commanded by the local rippers.  This is Mario “El Danino” Martinez with a cool off the top from a sick angle.

Borrador and Codo Lopez made it up here with me and they paddled out to score some fun ones.  Here is EL Codo Lopez trying to get covered on his backside at first peak.

The local kids were ripping all over the place as you can see.  This is young Yuber busting a sick aerial maneuver.

There were lefts and rights rolling in all over the place and we didn’t have enough people out to take every wave we had coming in.  Check out this one barreling with no taker!

This is Lenni attacking this closed out section with some power.  Cool move my friend!!!

First peak was super fun as you can see.  If you are coming down to Nicaragua and wants to be able to check this wave from your house and have access to it that is the place to stay way up top.  We are introducing this house to our listing pretty soon so let us know if you are interested on it.

There were some sick waves barreling down the beach as well.  Check out this unknown rider getting into a nice one.

Quesitos made it out right before dark and she scored some sick ones.  Here she is caught nabbing a nice peeler.

On the last shot of the day we have our very own Borrador with a nice forntside snap.  Please check back tomorrow!
