Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, December 06, 2022

Brian Scott

Welcome back for the late afternoon sunset showdown. Decided, especially after seeing yesterdays epic sunset (I saw it all the way from Rivas though, I can only imagine how much sweeter it looked from the actual beach here at Hacienda Iguana). But everyone even in Rivas was taking their phones out to take pictures it looked that nice from even that far away! So I opted to go for the PM session, and well….. I’ll let you guys and girls decided how nice it looked out there! Jump on in ~

Emi (also in the cover shot paddling for this wave), sneaking into a little cover up. Today’s waves were so dreamy & magical looking with the light and there was even a little more swell than I’ve been seeing in the typical mornings.

Papa coming on out and spraying his hijo Jett while playing clinical technician with todays topic being all about the rail game.

Brian Scott

Jett following it up with this here left. . . let’s see how his studying eyes performed after watching Dad rip!

Brian Scott

Haaaa - Yeah Jett ‘i’ mon! Sweeeet carve there buddy!!!

Brian Scott

Nice warm water with some pretty nice cool offshore breezes was the perfect match for todays arvo sesh!!!

Brian Scott

Funny thing is I got down there a little early (maybe around 3:45). But I was basing it on the tide which at that time it’s usually always a little early for the sunset crew. But by about 4:15 there must have been a bout 20 people at least that I counted coming out of the jungle to see waves like this. It was super clean and looked super fun!

Brian Scott

Everyone out there doing their thing, this kid obviously going for the more advanced style of surfing out there.

Brian Scott

Talk about going advanced, well, it’s safe to say that Jett’s surfing isn’t slowing down by any measures. In fact he pulled off this massive top turn floater combo mix.

Brian Scott

And well worthy of the claim!! That thing would have normally bucked anyone off of all that foam, but Jett rode it out like a champ!

Brian Scott

Big kids were playing like little kids.

Brian Scott

And little kids were playing like big kids. Jajaja

Brian Scott

So serine and beautiful out there this evening. It was like a conveyor belt for surfing, catch one all the way in paddle back out and repeat until the sun went down!

Brian Scott

And yes, there was the spectacular sunset with the pot of gold at the end rainbow. Just to end the perfect day! Yewwww. . . I will see you one more time, before I hand over the reigns to Daniel on Thursday…. so I hope to see you out there or back here again mañana ~
