NSR

Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, November 23, 2012

Buenas Dias everyone, hope everyone got their fill on turkey last night. We have another fun day of swell here today for "Black Friday", in the chest to head high range and strong offshore winds as well. A little smaller than yesterday and a bit inconsistent but still plenty of fun waves. Check it out!

Countdown to Christmas is on!  We would like to ask your help in making this Christmas a super special one of one the community in Rivas.  For the last 3 years, NSR has helped raise enough money to provide Christmas gifts and meals to over 400 people in 3 different communities in the southern region of Nicaragua.  If you would like help us bring Christmas, please email:   [email protected]   (we are asking that donations be sent via PayPal to [email protected] ).  If you are coming down, we are happy to collect any kind of toys at our shop in Hacienda Iguana.  Thanks so much for your support!

When I got down to the beach this morning there were only about 5 or 6 surfers out. I guess everyone else were still so full from eating turkey last night.

It was a bit smaller on this side of the beach this morning but there was still plenty of size on the waves coming in on the far side of the beach.

I thought the water was warm, but apparently this guy was sweating, sporting a nice florescent pink speedo. Watch out girls!

Steffi was out again trying to master those backside turns, nice one Steffi!

A few other rippers out there as well, trying to pull some aerial maneuvers, getting the fins out!

I was wondering why it's been so dry around here, spongebob, soaking it up!

Wasting no time finding the tube this morning, J.J. Kerson weaving his way through a nice little nugget.

Hiding out for a few seconds before squeaking through the doggie door! Nice one J.J.!

A lot of nice rights came through early, and looks like it should be happening all day, so if you didn't get out early get on it! That's it for today folks. Hasta manana amigos!
