Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, November 23, 2009

Hi folks, welcome to another beautiful day down here in Nicaragua.  Today we went to the beach in the morning but unfortunately when we got there we didn’t find what we were expecting.  The waves were pretty small making it hard for us to catch some.  It was running about knee to waist high on sets, depending how high you are, the wind was offshore and the water was clear and chilly.  Check it out!!!

A few guys kept the party on this morning and were drinking a few tonas.  This Ivan doing his thing 8:30 am.  Good luck my friend!!

Other ones decided to wake up early and go work hard.  Check out Pililo coming back from a tough task with the machete.  I never want to see this guy angry, wearing that Machete, do you?

There were some waves to be had today but not for big dudes.  Andrea was catching some of the better ones we have all morning long.  Here she is riding this nice looking left.

Quite a few girls decided to spend the day reading and writing about their experience they’ve had during their vacations down here.  You can write down my email address and we can probably hook up in the future beautiful lady.   Ja,ja, I just kidding, enjoy your stay!!!

The lineup was not crowded at all, we only had about 12 guys out but almost nobody was taking waves because there were not many to be ridden, especially when you are a big dude.  These guys arrived to the beach and they paddled out just to get wet.

We are proud to introduce two new surfers to our daily surf report.  These little kids were killing the waves today.  That’s what you can do when you are only 60 pounds.  This is Carlitos riding a sick right.

Now we have Maria charging on a chest high wave for her.  It was actually a pretty big day for them, but they were not worried about size, they had fun all the time they were out.

Guillermo “La Terepotita” Rosales was the only local surfer out.  He was doing the best to have fun and was catching tons of small ones.  Check him out going big with a pretty cool layback!

The waves are supposed to be about the same for the next couple days, so stay tuned with us and find out what we are going to have for you!

We runned down to the beach this evening to take a few shots of the killer sunset we have out front of the bay.  We could say the sky was on fire, uh!  We get some amazing sunset this time of the year, so we might keep updating this kind of photos.  Hope you like them!!!

Pancho Sanchez was able to snap this sweet shot of Dagne and I with a wonderful background.  Actually this is the first photo I got with my daughter with the sunset in the background.  Thanks so much dude!!!
