Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, October 07, 2010

Today the wind was onshore early in the day, right before we were ready to go to the beach we went to check out the bay and see how it was.  We got a nice surprise finding many fun waves rolling in at the lineup.  Bunch of people was out scoring fun waves all over the place.  We decided to stay around the bay and shot a few pics to show everyone how sweet and fun the waves were.  Check it out!!!

We had a sick horse shoe coming in every time we saw a set.  The best waves we’ve ever seen at the bay were photographed by NSR.  Check out how sweet and clean the lefts were.

Bunch of locals and a few international surfers were out having a blast.  This is Mike riding a sweet looking right.

Here is caught Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila busting some air.  It is amazing to have our own break in town.  The rain did its job very well and sat the sand bars very well.

There were some nice sized sets rolling in as well.  Waves were perfect, running about chest to shoulder high on sets.

A few kids were playing volleyball on the beach and were watching all the action in the lineup.  Watch out folks, we do not want to get hit.

You know what, waves had power enough to do some serious turns.  This is Guillermo “La Terepotita” Rosales with a nice sequence.  Shot 1, setting up!

Shot 2, throwing buckets!

Shot 3, sweet spray.  Wasn’t it?

Shot 4, he pulled it.  Nice job buddy!

If the waves are this good tomorrow at the bay, we might stick around too.  We are thinking about taking out the water housing so stay tuned with us.

This was Lucha Libre with the Thursday surf report.  Peace!!!
