Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, October 07, 2008

Hi folks, here we are with the Tuesday surf report from out here at the bay.  Today we finally got a sunny day but unfortunately the waves were not that good.  It is still pretty hard to make it to some of the best spots we have around because the rivers are still pretty deep.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets and the wind was onshore.

Our good friend and new intern for NSR paddled out today to do some long boarding before dark.  Here he is doing the best he can to have a good time on the big panga.

TODAY’S SPANISH CLASS:
Nuestro buen amigo y nuevo interino de NSR nado afuera hoy para hacer algo de surf en la table grande antes de el atardecer.  Aqui esta el haciendo lo mejor que puede para divertirse en la gran panga.

There were tons of people on the beach trying to find something to do.  Some people were lucky but many of them weren’t because it is really hard to find something interesting to do when you have a lot of rain and the surf conditions are bad.

A couple of local kids were out splitting up with D-Lite trying to get a few mushy and dirty waves.  This is another good friend of ours trying to improve his maneuvers with a cool 360.

Check out how green and beautiful everything looks around town when we have so much rain.  The afternoon was overcast but at least we had our first sunny day in the last 2 weeks.

Alright guys, that’s all for today.  Hey check out our new You Tube Slide Show.  It’s pretty cool, so be sure to check it out.  It’s our first slideshow “Cooler than Cool”, click on the image to see why we live down here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04jPNX0jQfc
