Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, August 14, 2018

Brian Scott

Bienvenido to the Tuesday surf report.  There were some really fun waves out there on the super maxed out low tide today.  Let’s see if you were one of the lucky ones who timed it right.

Brian Scott

Carlos’s luck isn’t luck at all, its just great local knowledge and many years dedicated to this wave.

Brian Scott

The lefts were firing.

Brian Scott

but here’s Chris Conners rebuttal to how sick the rights were firing right back.

Brian Scott

I’m gonna have to say it was a tie, because it was A-frames galore!

Brian Scott

We had some little barrels.

Brian Scott

and we had a little bigger barrels.

Brian Scott

Today was any regular or goofy footers dream day.

Brian Scott

Mystery surfer of the day numero uno. I’ll give you a hint… his name is synonymous with this surf spot and he knows it better than anyone.

Brian Scott

Mystery surfer of the day numero dos. I’ll give you a hint… he’s usually the one most people watching from the beach are really surprised and whistle and cheer for when they see him emerge out of most non-makable waves here.

Brian Scott

Today was a scorcher… hope ya’ll brought your sunscreen, so you didn’t get too burned out there. [>>>snicker~~snicker<<<]

Brian Scott

Looks like Kevin, not only brought his tank top for some sun protection, but he brought his A-game as usual!

Brian Scott

Here’s a good size reference of the kegs out there today. Check out this guys semi-bottom turn while getting shacked.

Brian Scott

and here’s a good crowd factor reference for todays super fun surf session.

Brian Scott

The proverbial question…. is this the end or the beginning? Could be the start of a of a nice wave for the hombre in the background, could be the end section of this guys wave in the foreground? Or it could be the beginning of our new swell… I’ll let you be the judge.

Brian Scott

I’m gonna just say it and I know you all hate it when this happens, but this is the end of my surf report for today. Hope you enjoyed todays goodies. We sure did. Should be firing again tomorrow and don’t forget to check back for sure as Thursday we should be seeing our XL days of waves then. Be safe and see you soon! Cheers ~
