Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, June 24, 2012

What's up people!!  This is Eric bringing you NSR's daily surf report from somewhere in Nicaragua!  Juancito took the camera out there this morning and snapped some nice photos for our report today.  The waves were kinda small, chest to head high and the winds were calm this a.m. It started out pretty crowded but began to thin out later in the morning.

Local barrel hunter Carlos catches good waves even in the thickest of crowds.  He got a quick little tube on this wave, getting some shade!

Jayson was already on it when we got to the beach today.  Working on those frontside slashes!  Ya Jayson!

It seemed like the rights were better out there.  There was definitely the occasional left coming in though.  Unknown surfer finding himself a little drainer!

This man caught some sweet ones out here.  He ripped a nice turn earlier on this same wave then took some power to the inside section!

As the morning progressed the winds started to blow side/onshore.  The crowd started to shrink and the waves were still coming in strong.  This guy was cruising as he dug into this bottom turn!

When the wind starts to blow the barrels are not as plentiful.  Doesn't mean the waves aren't still fun though!  Another unidentified surfer with another nice snap!

Every now and then some great sets would come pounding through, showing us there is still a decent little swell in the water!!  Well that's all the action for today folks!  Thanks for tuning into NSR and be sure and check back tomorrow!  We'll be here with your report straight from the beach!  This is Eric and I'm out!
