Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Hi everyone, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the Wednesday surf report.  Today in town we are celebrating the San Juan del Sur’s day in honor to our main saint San Juan Bautista.  We celebrate this date every year and we have much kind of activities to do.  Our culture is full of religion and here we have a shot to show you one of the things we do every June 24th.

We also have many other activities to enjoy during the day, like a good bull rodeo and have a few drinks.  Check out the scene out here at the main rodeo.

Let’s talk about surf now.  Today Jairo went out on a boat with a couple good surfers to score some sick waves.  The waves were running about head high to over head on sets with light offshore winds in the morning but later on in the afternoon the wind turned on.

This is Cayden getting into a nice shack.  This guy was taking many good barrels all over the place.  He is so stoked with all the killer photos that Jairo got of him.

The waves were doing their thing today.  Check out Jeff bottom turning a nice right hander.

How about Mike racing down the line on another sweet right.  He wants to say hi to his friends back in the states.

Here we have Joe with a nice snap.  There were a couple of pro surfers watching the action from the boat.  Don’t you believe me?  Check out that guy in the background.

Dave was ripping all over the place.  Nothing better than have somebody on the beach taking pictures of every move you do.  So you can check them out later and immortalize the moment for ever.

On the last shot of the day we have Cliff riding a wide open right.  Pull into that thing buddy!!! The waves should be fun tomorrow so be sure to stay tuned with us.
