Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, May 23, 2010

Before we get going with today's report, we wanted to post a few more shots from yesterday's reef session.  Here's a full sequence of Manny, who shows us how to properly pull into the inside bowl section.  Shot 1.

We threw up some new photos on yesterday's report too, so you might want to check back if you haven't seen them yet...

Shot 2, you have to know when to run and know when to fade.  You think Manny knows?  You bet he does.

Shot 3, looking down the line at the inside section and timing your bottom turn.

Shot 4, Digging into your bottom turn with your eye on the prize.  (check out the back knee dragging in the wave)

Shot 5, Looks like it's starting to line up now...

Shot 6, Pull up, stall and pull-in.

Shot 7, right where you want to be (how killer is this sequence!)

Shot 8, right place, right time.

Shot 9, Jeremiah get's the money shot!

Shot 10, dude, are you kidding me?

Shot 11, ...and this is the last we saw of him before he went out of frame.  Manny, you charge.  Thanks to Lucha and the Va Pue for the killer photos!

Here's another shot of Capt. Hi everybody, this is Miguel bringing one more time you a little bit of the action for this Sunday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to catch some fun waves.  It was running about chest to shoulder head high on sets with still offshore winds and the water was fresh.  Check out the lineup!!!

Today we are going to start our daily surf report with our very good friend “Pancho Sanchez”.  He was catching some fun waves out there.  Check him out looking good riding on one of the many better waves that he caught today.

Our very good friend D- lite took ride with us this morning, and he was putting sunscreen of color on his face, only some second got to paddle out and catching a couple waves.  You look very good my friend!

There were some good rippers destroying every single wave they caught out there.  On this shot we have “Pancho Sanchez” he was ripping all over the place.  Look at him about to throw the lip of this beautiful wave.

We had some good sets coming in today, and D-lite was trying to get some of them.  He really hanted to get some waves becasue it was his first time out here at this spot but you know it is always hard to get the first one on you your first day out.

On this shot we had D-lite, but this time was very different that the first shot, he was getting some good waves.  Check him out going on the top of this nice left hander.  You can do my friend.

The lineup was very empty, Pancho and D-lite was very stoked because they had the hold empty beach for themselves.  They had advantage in the water for to get some waves.  Looks at their walking around the beach yes second to paddle out and getting some fun waves.

On the last shot of the day we had one more time D-lite he was ripping all over the place.  He was very stoked after the long and wild surf session.  Aright folks this is all for today, we hope to have some better waves tomorrow.  Please check back with us!

We'll leave you with one last shot from yesterday.  That's Pancho on the wave and Lance driving the Ski.  Kind of artsy, kind of out of frame but kind of cool.  Remember what we said about the Last Minute Special for Surfari Charters and get in touch with us if you are interested in the trip of a lifetime!  Dates are May 29th to June 5th and they are offering a great discount!
