Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, May 13, 2011

What's up people!  This is Eric with the surf report for this Friday the 13th of May.  Waves today were around chest to head high.  Great conditions with a very light crowd early this a/m.  We went to the beach and caught some of the action.  Check it out!

This is a good friend of NSR, Shanone with a little tube on this right.  He was catching a bunch of good lefts this morning before he nabbed this pitching frontside!

There were a bunch of peaks all along the beach, which helped spread out the crowd.  Nice A-frame coming in down the beach a ways.

This guy picked off a hollow one!  You can tell from the guy watching that it was shallow.  Makes for some good tube sections!

This Lady from San Diego paddled out on her big red log and caught some great waves.  Looking for a little tube section on this left!

Our very own Carlos Caliente was on it early!  I think it got a little more crowded after everyone saw him pull into this drainer!

Shanone again, burning some speed with a backside hack!  The lefts were not as plentiful as the rights but were just as fun.

Chris surfs this wave well because he knows how to go fast.  You need some speed to come out of speedy tubes like this one!

Andrew swam out with his GoPro and snapped this shot of Kike getting slotted!  It was as calm as glass like this allll morning!  Thanks for checkin' in on us, that's all for today.  We'll be back again tomorrow with a wave check from the West coast of Nicaragua, take it easy everyone!
