Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, May 11, 2016

Hello everybody and welcome to the midweek surf report at NSR! This is Parker uploading today's fun morning session. Check out our shots!

Lately, the morning high tide session has been awesome! Now, the swell is starting to back off. I saw plenty of fun rollers; however, it wasn't all time at that hour.

Regardless, John is back in town and was on it! He's stoked to enjoy the 80 degree water.

I ate breakfast and I returned an hour later to find better conditions because the tide backed off and the shape improved. Today wasn't a full blown NSR barrel fest, but gems still crept through.

Dip, duck, dive, and dodge are a few verbs to squeeze into the nugs. Well, all except for dodge..

Being a regular footer, this last swell and its direction was perfect. Plenty of lefts came in through the south end of the beach but even more rights rifled through!

Lesther and Oscar were on it early. They gobbled up insiders to practice their tricks. Once the new swell comes, you'll see them on the set waves!

These guys are gearing up for the competitions this summer. They've already set records and we are stoked to see where the local's surfing careers go.

Check out this right handed beauty!! The north peak has been delivering the goods for the past week.

Stephen Colbert's long lost brother Mark is visiting us. Despite his conservative views, he drew liberal high lines all over the wave.

Chanch and his crew have been dedicated early morning chargers. They were cruising all the way to the beach on their waves. Shoot me an email at [email protected] for y'all's photos!

Ok damas and caballeros, thank you for checking out today's report! The forecast predicts similar conditions and mixing swells so expect fun windows at the beachies. Have a good rest of the day and hasta en la manana primos!!
