Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, May 03, 2011

What's up folks?  This is Lucha Libre throwing a couple of shots in from down here in San Juan del Sur.  The waves were super fun, running about chest to head high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was nice.  Check it out!!!

Bunch of locals made it out and were shredding up all over the place.  This is La Baloy Chamorro going big with a sick floater!

There were some nice lefts rolling in at Machete Pt.  Juan "Avatarsito" Lopez with a cool turn on this left.

Gainer "La Ranita" Tapita throwing a nice front side move on this right.  He was pushing his limits tday, and landed a couple of nice maneuvers.

Lots of people was on the beach, enjoying the beautiful and sunny day we had.  These two ladies were throwing rocks and trying to hit plastic bottles.

There were some international dudes ripping as well.  Here is caught this one with a cool slash.

Sweet form waves rolled in and this guy picked up fun ones.  Nice looking waves, uh!!!

That's all for today folks, please check back tomorrow!

Hey everybody, Eric here with a quick addition to todays surf report...  Coming in from somewhere up north, waves up here today were fun, chest to head high with super good conditions.  Here's a nice empty wave rolling through.

Carl Pulling in on a sick little right tube.  Getting his picture taken and caught on video at the same time.

One more empty grinder for you to mind surf.  Lots of small tubes coming in unridden at this spot.

I took a hike with Andrew, looking for a secret wave that we had heard about.  Checkin' out the view from up top.

Looking down from up on the cliff, we saw a reeling lefthander breaking close to the rocks.  Looked fast but some were makeable!

We decided to scale the cliff to get a closer look.  It was a little knarly, in front of a bunch of big rocks, but we paddled out anyway and got shacked!  Too bad there was nobody there to capture it.  That's all from up here, we'll be back tomorrow.  Take it easy!
