Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, April 23, 2010

What’s going on folks?  This is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the Friday surf report.  Today I drove up north, trying to snap a couple of cool shots from a few different spots.  The waves were kind of fun, running about chest to head high with some sporadic over head waves on sets.  Check it out!!!

The wind was straight offshore all day long and we took advantage on that.  To start the report we have this cool little sequence of Antony taking one of the better set waves of the day.  Shot 1, dropping in!!!

Shot 2, looking down the line!

Shot 3, digging a nice bottom turn.  It was really nice to meet you buddy!

Carlitos Calientes made it back in Nicaragua a couple days ago and today he was able to pick up some good ones.   Here he is hand dragging and styling on this beautiful right hander.

This is Roberto from Boston taking the elevator to the highest level.  He never been down here before and he said he love it so far.

There were a few sick waves rolling in but they were really hard to find.  This guy sat in the right spot and scored a few of them.  What a lucky guy, uh!

We didn’t get to know this guy name but we have to say that he was taking tons of good and funs waves all day long.  Hey dude, we have a couple of cool photos of you, so if you want to get them just shoot us and email.

We had some great form waves at this spot.  Check out this sponger getting super shacked on this sick right hander.  This swell is not as big as we were expecting but we are not complaining because there are some sweet and nice sized waves coming in.

A few local rippers were destroying every single wave they caught.  This is Junior “La Juliana” Martinez tearing this one up.

Alright fellas, that’s all for today.  This swell is supposed to stay like today for the next few days so make sure to check us back out.

The last shot from Mike is of Julio, a local from Limon.  For those of you who know Julio - he rips.  Thanks for the shots Mike!  Keep 'em coming!
