Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, April 13, 2019

Brian Scott

Bienvenido to the Saturday surf report. Had a bit of some side-shore funkiness going on all day, so waiting for the afternoon session was the call for a little less wind. Check it!

The tide was dead low around midday, so being that it was pretty drained out for the better part of the day, the late afternoon saw a little more water on the reef and with it came some fun waves.

Brian Scott

There were still some remnants of the sea-sickness caused by the funky winds, but as you can see there is still plenty of good swell in the water.

Unknown ripper dude, shredding away on his vacation time as a surfer should. Looks glassy too eh!

Right around 5 o’clock or so, many people start making their way down to the playa. Usually to jump in for one last surf for the day, or to watch one of our spectacular sunsets we’re so well known for.

Brian Scott

Isn’t that right Enzo!

Brian Scott

Aura sticking with the far bar rights and picking off the inside frothy ones! I think this was the one that possibly gobbled up your hat when you pulled into that washing machine looking thing?

Brian Scott

Stop and Go, or go really fast and stomp on the brakes. Either way, Cesar always finds time to put in a session each day.

Golden hour, magic hour, dusk, whatever one you wish to call it, just don’t call it a day until you’ve done your fair share of sick maneuvers.

Papa Nam waited patiently for a big outside set.

Here he has this open long folding left all to himself for another 100 yards or so.

The rights had some equally long if not longer waves. This dudes gunning it down the line with this super high line he’s taking. Followed by about 8 more turns all the way in.

What a day, what a day. We have some more swell coming too. It’s only going to get progressively better. Psyching…. how about you?? See ya’ll mañana ~
