Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, April 13, 2011

What’s up folks?  This is Lucha Libre Garcia coming at you with our daily surf report.  We went to the beach in the morning with a couple locals to ride some waves and we successfully did.  The waves were running about waist to chest high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was nice.  Check it out!!!

A bunch of locals made it out, as I said before and they were having a good time.  La Baloy Chamorro was flying all over the place as always.

There were a few ladies out, riding some fun ones.  This is Debbie from Fl with a solid stand up on this little nugget.

Lefts and rights rolled all over, and there was always somebody on them having fun.  Leandro picking up a nice peeler.

We had a beautiful sunny morning, sweet enough to do some yoga on the beach.  I tried to do it like 2 years ago and it was fun.

A few longboarders took their big pangas out and they were able to score some sweet ones.  Check out this one racing down the line on this little nugget.

Quite a few people think that it is not safe to leave stuff on the beach.  Here is caught one of them surfing with his backpack on.

Who’s got the sexiest hair baby?  The short one or the long one?

The last action shot goes to La Bestia Calderon busting a sick backside air.  He was literately destroying every little wave he took.

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  Please make sure to check us back out tomorrow.

Hey everybody, this is Eric posting some shots from another beach up north.  We had similar conditions to what Lucha showed you.  Chest high, clean, the water temperature was perfect, and the crowd wasn't much of a factor.  Here's our man D-Lite dropping in on a sweet one!

Dana showed up this morning and was blowing up.  This guy had a good barrel sequence earlier this week, today he was out ripping turns with a lot of power behind them.

A couple of local kids paddled out.  These guys have this wave wired and are surfing well.

Rosa paddled out on the peak and snagged some good waves.  Here she is with that smooth backside!

Pancho was telling me out in the water this morning, "Eric you need to work on those weak little turns you've been doing".  This is how it's done huh Pancho!

Two different forms of fishing, one rock...  We saw one of the guys using the hand-line pull up a 15 pound sting ray off these rocks this morning.  Not a prize catch, but it'll get eaten!

D-Lite was stylin' it up on this left.  One of his favorite moves is the cutback to rebound.  Lookin' smooth D!

Lots of waves coming through all down the beach here.  Pick a peak and go get one!

Dana with another monstrous hack.  This man can throw it down with some serious force!

Pancho was lighting up this wave early this a.m.  He's got a mean frontside turn as you can see.

That's all from up here!  We had a great day at the beach this morning.  Lots of fun waves and you can bet we'll be out there again tomorrow.  Thanks for tuning in to the #1 surf report in Nicaragua.  Check back tomorrow and take it easy!
