Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, April 13, 2009

Hi everybody, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the Monday surf report.  Today I headed out to the beach with a few local surfers that wanted to catch a couple of fun waves, and they did.  It was running about head high to over head on sets with offshore winds and the water warmed up a little bit.  Check out what we got for you guys today.

There were some girls out in the lineup scoring many good waves.  Here I caught a nice shot of this unknown rider drifting on a nice sizeable wave.

The rights were definitely doing its thing but there were some good lefts to be had as well.  This is Dario “El Aguila” looking down the line on this left.

Gerardo “El Mope” Miranda was able to paddle out today and was shredding all over the place.  Here we have a cool shot of him from a nice perspective.

Edwin “El Tuzo” Morales was taking plenty of sweet rights all day long.  Check him out getting into this small but sweet room.  Nice one buddy!!!

Pedro “El Cacaste” Florez was enjoying his last day off in the water because tomorrow he’s going back to school.  Here he is setting up for a nice turn on this left hander.

Jamil “El Coki” Brox is practicing hard everyday for the upcoming surf contest at the end of this month.  Here he is working on his style with a killer bottom turn on one of the better set waves of the day.

The waves should be fun tomorrow so be sure to check us back out.

Lucha out!!!
