Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, February 26, 2011

The surf has been pretty fun lately at Playa Maderas and today we headed out there to score a couple fun ones.  It was running about chest to head high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was a bit chilly.  Check it out!!!

Bunch of local kids made it out to the lineup and they were ripping it up.  On this first action shot of the day we have La Bestia Calderon throwing buckets on this right.  Dammmmmm!!!

Felipito "El Pipito" Chompipito made it out as well and he got to pick up some real nice ones.  Here he is caugh on this shot about to attack the lip of the upcoming section.

All the local kids were killing every single wave they caught today.  This Zapotito with a sweet off the lip on this little nugget.

A couple of international dudes were lucky enough to score some of  the better waves of the day.  This is Mojo-jojo Jackson racing down the line of this nice peeler.

The show was on, in the lineup up but there were also a little bit of action on the  beach.  Hola Muchachaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

You know it is always nice to stretch out your muscles before you paddle out and sometime it works.  La Gaviota Chamorro just seconds away from fun.

This is why you have to stretch out, so you can be way more flexible and bust some sick maneuvers like this one.  Nice move Gaviota!!!

La Gaviota's girlfriend also stretched out before she went out and here are the results.  About to get into a nice little greem room!

Nice being a kid, because you can do many things you won't be able to do when you get adult.  Do not worry folks, it is not a twister!

On the last shot of the day we have Jose "El Corage" Hernandez smacking this left right in the pocket.  This is why he is the Central American Longboard Champion.  The waves should be fun tomorrow as well, so make sure to stay tuned with us.
