Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, February 09, 2019

Brian Scott

Well, look who’s back! PC woke up after a nice little siesta and she’s ready I think for the 2019 season! Oh ya and welcome to the Saturday surf report amigos!

Brian Scott

Maycol happy as a camper that his beloved favorite barreling wave started to break again.

Brian Scott

It wasn’t super big (yet), but we have some really promising swell coming in the next couple of days.

Brian Scott

Jeison airing out over a little ramp section.

Brian Scott

I’m sure he’s just as keen to get back to his favorite pitted spot too. Although he had some pretty good air and rail game practice while surfing up the way for the last couple of months.

Brian Scott

I could see how much the practicing helped with their turns, like this sick crack off the top from Lesther.

Brian Scott

But everyone knows this is his favorite place to be ANYTIME!!!

Brian Scott

If it wasn’t about seeing some darn fine surfing out front…….

Brian Scott

It’s always good to see the family life at our beautiful beaches in full effect!

Brian Scott

Not sure if you saw my insta-story earlier, but we actually had a little rain squall come through around noon-ish. Pretty bizarre for this early in the season, but could mean wonderful things for the surf possibly (think sand bars)

Brian Scott

It never gets old looking at this world famous wave.

Brian Scott

The short rain was a little odd, but the winds certainly are on schedule. So much that literally I didn’t see one person surfing the whole day until around 4:30pm. No takers at Pangas…. look at those offshore winds! Check the forecast at the bottom too. It’s going be really strong again tomorrow.

Brian Scott

Looks clean and empty, right? Might be the year to make this place the surf vacation you’ve always dreamed of taking.

Brian Scott

Alrighty friends, looks like we have some really good swell lining up. Nows’ the time to make that quick get-a-way, OR you can always just check out our daily surf reports. Either way we’ll have you covered!
